Serenity - Norfolk Shepherd Hut

‘Serenity’ is a traditional shepherd hut with a touch of modern, set on a meadow in a quiet lane. Small double bed, television, cooking facilities, barbecue and her own shepherd hut containing toilet and shower, named ‘Necessity’.


Tranquility - Norfolk Shepherd Hut

‘Tranquility’ is our second shepherd hut, a touch more modern. Small double bed, cooking facilities, interior shower and toilet, decked area and barbecue.

Our location in north Norfolk

Cley-next-the-SeaWe are situated 5 miles inland from the lovely Georgian town of Holt on the outskirts of the village of Briston. We’re not far from the sea. Cley-next-the-Sea is only 9 miles away (a 20-minute drive). The popular beach resorts of Sheringham and Cromer are less than a half hour drive away.

Whilst our central location in north Norfolk provides easy access to the more natural coastal villages of Blakeney, Morston and Wells. You’ll find sea food (locally sourced in season) at many different restaurants and shops.

Blickling HallWe even have our own seafood outlet in the village, run by local fishermen. We also boast two fabulous local butchers (HV Graves and Rutlands), a bakery, as well as fast food options.

Nearby local pubs include The Pigs at Edgefield, The Hunworth Bell and The Earl Arms in Heydon (plus tea rooms). The Explorers Bar in Briston provides light meals and refreshments.

Other popular destinations nearby, but inland, include Blickling Hall (and Estate), Felbrigg Hall (and Estate) and Sheringham Park; these are all managed by the National Trust. The quaint town of Aylsham is only 10 miles away and the fine city of Norwich is only 20 miles away.
